*I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for a review*

Synopsis: “A Fae prince, a guardian angel, twin dragon shifters, a vampire… And that’s only the beginning.

Now that the truth is out about the supernaturals, things are starting to get interesting. With ten bachelors remaining, Kimmie-Jayne needs to get her head in the game. But with a murder investigation underway on set, listening to her heart only complicates matters.

To make things worse, the mysterious accidents that were supposed to end with the big supernatural reveal are back with a vengeance.

As if choosing between ten hot guys wasn’t hard enough, Kimmie-Jayne still needs to watch her back. With more twists and secrets being revealed everyday, is there anyone she can really trust?

Will following her heart be the answer or her ultimate downfall as she narrows it down to the final five bachelors?”

4.5 Stars

So, I wanted to wait closer to release date to post this review in case anyone was going to read book one! This is your warning right here that if you haven’t read book one yet and don’t want some spoilers, go and finish it and then come back. OR, if you haven’t read the book but want to read my review, you have been warned.

I finished this book in TWO days. Book two is so much better than the first book (and y’all know how much I love the first book)! Once again, this book is face paced, and it has A LOT more drama (and kissing) than book one. It also made me laugh and cry! Which btw even book one didn’t make me cry, so things start to get real.

When I started to read the first few pages, I had to stop for a hot second because there was so much going on, and I thought I was about to lose a few guys. Lucky everything was fine… well as fine as it could be considering that Kimmie and Flare found Aren dead. On a side note, book one literally ends right there with them walking into the room! I’m telling you I about died right there because how could an author leave me having like that? I turned the page and saw the other books by G. K. and was thinking how could she do this to me!!! That’s a cliffhanger if I’ve ever seen one before.

In this book I learned so much about the guys and their background. Some of the have deeper pasts than others but they have all been through so much. I can’t wait to see some of their cool exterior melt some more!

There is still this unknown person? group of people? that is still trying to kill Kimmie and whoever is behind it is starting to play even dirtier leaving, Kimmie and all of the guys on edge. There is one time where it really was a life or death situation with Kimmie, and I could not handle it. But the good thing is that with these situations, we get to see who has feelings for her and wants to protect her.

Now that Kimmie is starting to get to know the guys better, she now has to figure out where she would fit in. All of the guys have pretty high ranks or important jobs, and she is starting to realize that some of the men’s life might not be the best for her. Throughout this story, we see the internal conflict that Kimmie has while she starts to connect with these guys on a deeper level, and we can’t help but feel bad for all of them because at this point most of them have real feelings for her and she feels the same towards them.

I feel like book three is going to tear me a part because of that ending in The Top Ten. I mean things are starting to get super deep with the guys and there is only a handle full of them left, I just can’t handle it. Then, there is the twist on the show that is revealed, and there are so many things that could go wrong with that. Like I said, I do not know if I can handle it.

There are still so many questions that I have about this series like:

  • Who killed Aren?
  • Who is trying to kill Kimmie? Why?
  • Why does that show have to be released?
  • How will the big twist at the end effect relationships in book three?
  • Who will make it past the next round of eliminations?
  • Where does Cross come into play?
  • Will the guys be able to find anything to help those still in the show? (that question is kind of spoilery because of a couple of conversations she has in this book, but I still need to know)

At this point in the series, I still cannot narrow my personal favorites down to one guy. All I can say is that I’m seriously praying for Kimmie because there is no way that i could pick just one at the moment.
