Defy Me by Tahereh Mafi

Look, I still haven’t recovered from the ending of Restore Me. And, Restore Me had SO much going on that it was legit sensory overload. I want to read more about Warner, and I would love to see Warner and Juliette get back together, but idk if I can handle Defy Me… I might get more motivated to read it, if I take it out of the Defy Me Hangover Box.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Honestly, I’m not sure why I haven’t read it yet… I’ve had it for a year and the majority of readers really seem to love it 🤷🏻‍♀️. I’ve read Shadow of Bones and enjoyed it (yes I know that these are 2 different series), so I’m kind of familiar with her writing, but I’m kind of scared that I won’t love it as much as everyone else 🙈.

Descendant of the Crane by Joan He

I’ve only had this book for a couple of months, but I feel like I should have read it by now… I mean an Asian MC on a journey to find her father’s killer. What more do you need?

Wildcard by Marie Lu

I fell in love with Warcross (and Hideo), and I bought Wildcard about a month later after and I didn’t have that “I must read this book right now” feeling because of all the time that has passed. The concept of VR and the whole game had me entertained throughout the whole book, and I want to finished Wildcard, but I just don’t have the drive right now.

Basically every book by V. E. (Victoria) Schwab

Let me give you a run down I own ADSOM Box Series, City of Ghosts, and This Savage Song Duology, but I still haven’t found it in myself to read any of these books. Schwab is one of those authors that I hear nothing but great things about their work and I’m kind of nervous because of how popular her work is… which book of Schwab’s should I read first? I’m thinking A Darker Shade on Magic at the moment.

The Harry Potter Series by J. K. Rowling

I believe that when a series is so beloved across the board by some many different age groups, that there is a specific time for a person to experience the feels from this series… I just haven’t came across my time yet. I have a box set with all seven books, and I even started the first book and got just under half way through it, but at the moment, it’s just not my cup of tea.
