Flashback Friday Book Quotes

Hi everyone! We made it through the week, and IDK about you but this week felt like it was never going to end.

The other day, I was looking though the file on my computer and found an old cover sheet that I had made for the front of my binder back in the 8th grade with a bunch of quotes from books that I had read. I thought that I would share with y’all some of them today!

“My mom always said that people in Gatlin were either too stupid to leave or too stuck to move.”

― Beautiful Creatures, Kami Garcia

“There is no pretending,” Jace said with absolute clarity. “I love you, and I will love you until I die, and if there is life after that, I’ll love you then.”

― City of Glass, Cassandra Clare

“Winning…won’t help in my case,” says Peeta.

“Why ever not?” says Caesar, mystified.

Peeta blushes beet red and stammers out. “Because…because… she came here with me.”

― The Hunger Games , Suzanne Collins,

“I loved her,” Robinson said. “And I loved the sick girl you were when I met you, and I loved the good student and the bad driver. I loved the car thief, the hitchhiker, the quarter of novels I haven’t read, and the hater of Slim Jims… Axi Moore, I’ve loved every you there ever was.”

― First Love, James Patterson,

“I might be in love with you.” He smiles a little. “I’m waiting until I’m sure to to tell you, though.”

– Divergent, Veronica Roth

Happy reading until next time,
