Spicy Pumpkin Latte Book Tag

Hi everyone! I hope y’all are having a good Monday (if that’s even a thing). Yesterday, I had started this tag, another tag, and a book review and didn’t finish any of them while I was supposed to be studying for my test that I had today. I know blogging at its finest.

And, today I went to take my test and actually did better than I had anticipated. Then, after the test I went back to school to practice with a few people on med administration because me and a guy had validations today. I had to go home to change into the proper attire and went back to get my validations done. And y’all I was stressing because there were several things that wasn’t quite set up, but luckily I passes and my instructor said that I did very well!!!

Anyway, back to the tag! Thank you so much Blair @ Feed the Crime for tagging me to do this tag!

  • Link back to the original post here
  • Thank the person who tagged you
  • Do the prompts below
  • Tag some friends
  • Most importantly – have fun!

Pumpkin Spice Latte: A book that you didn’t think you’d love.

What Light by Jay Asher. I had read 13 Reasons Why by him a couple of years before I had read this book, and I was hesitant because it wasn’t my cup of tea, and I wasn’t sure if the writing style would be the same. However, What Light had a completely different vibe and was more appealing with its Christmas vibes.

Hot Apple Cider: A book that got you a bit hot under the collar.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas, I mean the wings and paint…

Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate: A book that felt like a warm hug.

I feel like I’m thinking about this way too hard because I’ve been sitting here for 5 minutes thinking of a book.

Endless Summer by Jennifer Echols! This book just reminds me of summer days on the lake and the fun of having crushes!

Maple Pecan Latte: A book you enjoyed that was hard to get into.

Mmm… Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas… oh sorry, I was only asked for one book.

London Fog: A vanilla character.

If we want to be honest, we all have a little bit of vanilla in us, but one of the characters that is coming to mind is Bella from Twilight. I mean come on, how could I not? The new girl falls for the mysteriously hot guy, they start dating, then another person comes into the equal and drama is added, they fight some thing to stay together, and live happily ever after.

Hot Buttered Rum: A book that was velvety smooth to read.

You’d Be Mine by Erin Hahn. Maybe it’s because I’m from the south and I can relate to some of these things better than others, but I flew through this book! I love the friendships that are shown and the small town vibes.

Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew: A character whose temperament is icy cold.

I’m going to have to go with Warner from the Shatter Me Series because let’s face it, the boy can cold and heartless when he want to be with his thick walls that are near impossible to break.

Salted Caramel Mocha: A book that you’re salty about.

After by Anna Todd. Y’all I want to like this book so bad because of the whole Harry Styles fanfic but the relationship in this thing is SO toxic. I heard that the movie was just added to Neflix and part of me wants to watch it and the other doesn’t.

Honey Bee Latte: A character who is sweet.

Ummm, is there such thing as a sweet character? I feel like everyone is just a little to catty to be categorized as sweet.

Gingerbread Latte: A character you’d take home for Christmas.

Are we taking about as a boyfriend you’d take home to meet your family? It would have to be Logan from Match Me If You Can. I absolutely love him from his sarcasm to his flirty ways to his overall charm!

Tagging: You!!! If you complete this tag, make sure to link me so I can read your answers!

Happy reading until next time,
