Bookcase Reorganization Tour Part 3

Hi everyone! I can’t believe that it’s time for me to finish this bookcase reorganization tour!!! Do you want to know what made me decide to finish this post when I did? Because I want to reorganize my bookcases again and couldn’t do that when I haven’t finished this part of the series, so here I am today!

For Part One (aka the bookcase with my favorite books), click here.

For Part Two, click here.

So this last bookcase is the small half bookcase that contains a lot of the books that I don’t really care for and some of my Middle Grade books.

Honestly, there wasn’t much wrong with these shelves, but I decided to try to put more books on this bookcase because the shelves on here are a lot sturdier than the other ones.

After (with Items):

Here’s a look at the bookcases before I had reorganized it.

Here’s after:

Overall, I was very pleased with how it all came out, but now I feel like it’s time for me to change it up a little bit more than I did before since there are some books that didn’t move. Plus I have a large stack of read books that need to go on the bookcases!

Happy reading until next time,

  1. I took down almost all of my bookish stuff. I kept feeling like it was cluttered and I was like, do I really love this item? Would I care if it was gone? 99% sure I wouldn’t care so it’s gone. Having a more minimalist bookshelf, surprisingly, makes me feel less anxiety about it. But I still move books around every weekend because I’m nuts. HA!

  2. I have been putting off reorganizing my shelves because it turns into a multi-day project, but I know it needs to be done! I will say, however, that investing in a TBR cart was a game changer for me because it 1) freed up so much room on my shelves and 2) forces me to see how insane my TBR has gotten and re-evaluate books that have been on it for ages.
But now I’m getting inspired to get on this project, so thanks for that 😉
