Hi everyone! I hope y’all are doing well and surviving all that the holidays have to offer. I was tagged a while back by Danni @ For Books Sake to do the I Should Have Read That Book Tag! I’ve seen this tag on so many people’s blog and wanted to do it and finally got the motivation (and time) to do it!
Here are the rules:
- Thank the person who tagged you and link back to their post
- Link to the creator’s blog (booksnest.co.uk) in your post
- Answer the questions below
- Tag 10 others to take part
- ENJOY THE TAG!
A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
From the book people of the internet, I feel like people are always talking about Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and V.E. (Victoria) Schwab books! I have both SoC and a lot of Victoria’s books, but I haven’t gotten to reading either. I’ve tried to read ADSOM but haven’t gotten to the part where I get hooked into the story.
A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up.
Mmmm. There are so many books that I’ve bought over the past few years that it has all kind of blurred together.
A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing yet
Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas. I was a little under halfway done with this book when I put it down. I was never really a ToG fan, so I’m surprised I made it this far in the series.
A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read
A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. You want to know why? Because of Tessa and Will from The Infernal Devices, but also a lot of other books like to throw that title around (but mainly because of Tessa and Will).
A popular book that it seems everyone but you
The Wicked King, Queen of Nothing, Poppy War, The Priory of the Orange Tree, The 5th Wave, Three Dark Crowns… do I need to keep going?
A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet
I’m drawing a blank right now. Since YA books have become more popular in the film industry, I’m pretty much caught up on reading all of the books that I want to see on the screen.
A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I honestly couldn’t tell you what this book is about, but I see it on Instagram and in different book boxes so much that I bought a copy of it at the library sale.
If you do this tag, make sure to tag me so I can read it!
Happy reading until next time,
