Hi everyone! I’m back with a couple more awards! I know that I posted The Awesome Blogger Award earlier today, but I was going trough my email and remembered that I never finished and posted these awards! I was nominated for both The Real Neat Blog Award and The Liebster Award by the lovely Autumn @ Chapter Malliumpkin a while back! I had finished the major of the Real Neat Blog Award post a while back and just answered the Liebster questions today so keep that in mind while you read.
I apologize for not getting this post out sooner, but school has kept me busy and things get shuffled in priority, but I’m here now! Also, in this new year, I’m going to keep a blogging journal, so I’ll have all of the tags, and awards I need written down, so hopefully I can stay on top of them!
Also the people that I’m nominating are going to be nominated for both awards – you can accept both or you can do one of them (I’m leaving it up to you!). I’ll also put a reminder down at the bottom! The questions for the awards will be at the end of that respected post!

- Thank the blogger who nominated you and post a link to their blog.
- Answer the questions of the one who nominated you.
- Nominate some bloggers.
- Ask them seven questions.
What was the biggest influence for you starting your blog?
The main reason I’ve started my blog is because I wanted to share my favorite books that I felt were overlooked. I had read so many great books over the years and had noticed that they were quite as well known as I thought they should have been. The full backstory of my blog can be found here.
What is your favorite season?
I don’t know if I can choose. I love the summer because I’m able to go outside in shorts and go swimming and plant stuff in my garden. But I also love winter because of the hopes of snow and the Christmas season.
If you could only live in one place for the rest of your life, where would it be and why?
I’m not sure where exactly in the world I would live, but I know that I would probably live in the country where I would have enough room to have some animal (chickens and dogs) and be able to have a good size garden to grow flowers and edible stuff.
What are the three items that are most precious to you?
Since the question says items, I’m going to list material things and not things like my family and pets.
- My computer – it holds so many memories through photos and documents and things from my past
- My sapphire ring
- My phone? IDK this was harder than I thought it would be to answer
What are you two biggest accomplishments for 2019 that you’re proud of?
Getting into nursing school and sticking with blogging!
If you could have any mythical creatures as a pet, what would it be and why?
Honestly, IDK. Having a dragon would be cool, but I don’t have enough space or food to keep one. Maybe a Pegasus because it can fly and it’s similar to a horse, so I think I could manage taking care of it.
What is one thing you wish to accomplish before the end of 2019?
Blogmas! It has been a challenge to post things every day! (which I was able to complete!!!)
- What’s has been an OMG moment of 2019?
- What are 3 books you’d take with you on a deserted island?
- What is the last book to give you a hangover?
- What was an unexpectedly great book?
- What part of blogging is easier and harder than you thought?
- What is something that you can’t live without?
- What is the first thing you do when you get on your phone?
The Liebster Award
This is my first time that I’ve been nominated for this award, and I’m so excited!
“The Liebster Award is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.”
- Say thank you to the person who has nominated you for the Award.
- Answer the 11 questions the person has asked you
- Nominate 11 people
- Ask the people who you have nominated 11 questions
What has been your favorite memory so far for the year of 2019?
One of my favorite memories of 2019 would be reaching different blogging milestones! In the beginning of 2019, I was to the point where nobody was reading or interacting with my blog and it was disheartening because I was sharing the post, interacting with other blogger, and everything in between, but nothing was working. As a last ditch effort, I switched to wordpress, and the rest is history.
What are you top three books you hope to finish before 2019 comes to an end?
I wanted to finish The Burning Shadow by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Announcing Trouble, and Entwined Paths before the end of the year, but sadly I wasn’t able to because my family was visiting, and I was taking some time to relax.
Name at least one book that was recommended to you (and tag the person) that you loved!
Mmmm. I feel like I’ve been recommended so many books inadvertently over the past year, but I haven’t had time to really read anything.
If you had a theme song, what song would it be and why?
When It All Goes Wrong by The Hara. This song is one of those empowerment songs that’s about taking what life gives you and keep moving forward. (and I often listen to it on repeat when I need some motivation)
If you could spend the day as any character (whether from a book or movie), who would it be and why?
Will Herondale because he’s bae. Mic drop, end of story. I’m just kidding. I’d love to hang out with him because he’s smart, fearless, adventurous, a book lover, and very snarky.
Do you like to eat a snack while you read? If so, what’s you’re favorite snack to have?
I snack if I have something around me when I sit down, but it’s not a must have while I read. The food itself could vary from chips to fruit to candy.
Who are you top five fictional crushes?
Are you ready?
- Will Herondale
- Daemon Black
- Clark from the Unexpected Everything
- Reed Royal
What is you most favorite time of the year? (This can be a holiday, a national day, the release date of a book, or even your birthday)
I love Christmas because I get time off from school, see family, relax, eat all the time, read, and have time to run around town.
Say one thing that you’re proud you accomplished before the end of 2019!
Raising my chickens! Earlier in 2019, my parents bought me 4 chickens, and they later got me some more chickens to add to the little “farm”. Now I have a total of 11 chickens, that I love so much.
How do you feel about playlists while reading?
I love to listen to music while I read! I often make playlists for books that I read. Music also reminds me of certain characters and scenes, so when I randomly hear a song from my playlist I think of them!
What’s one genre that you don’t often read from, but you would love to start reading more of?
I use to read a lot of dystopian books back in middle school, but I got tired of them because that was all I was reading (and it was popular at the time, so that was the major of books being published). Since then, I tend to stay away from them, but I’d love to read a couple in the upcoming months!
- What is your favorite type of shoes?
- Which book couple do you wish you had a relationship like?
- How many books are on your TBR, and how do you stay on top of it?
- What book holds a special memory for you?
- What unusual animal would you love to have as a pet?
- What color book do you have the most of?
- What is one of the prettiest books you own?
- What is your favorite bookish item?
- What is your biggest blogging accomplishment of 2019?
- Who would be casted in your dream book movie?
- What’s your favorite comfort food dish?
So the people that I’m nominating can do both The Real Neat Blog Award and The Liebster Award (because y’all deserve them both) or you can do one of them!
