Favorite Book Covers: TTT

Hi everyone, can you believe that it has officially been a year since I’ve been blogging on WordPress? It’s crazy that a year ago, I decided to switch blog hosts!

Today’s prompt for Top Ten Tuesday is Cover Freebie, and y’all that’s just a bit too much freedom to me. I’ve been all over the place trying to find out what I want to talk about from favorite covers to seasonal covers to minimalistic to literally everything in between. So I’m just going to go at it and see where life takes me!

TTT is a weekly meme hosted by thatartsyreadergirl.

January’s Schedule:

Favorite Covers:

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi

Ignite Me (Shatter Me Book 3)

This is my favorite cover out of the Shatter Me series because of the color scheme with the blues, oranges, and greens. I love the vines and flowers. Plus who doesn’t love the amount of Warner in this book.

“It’s the kind of kiss that inspires stars to climb into the sky and light up the world.”

The Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Problem with Forever: A compelling novel (Harlequin Teen)

This has always been one of my favorite covers because of the color, the font, and the simplicity of it. Plus I feel like the colors represent all of the emotions and feels that you feel during the book: sadness, anger, love, happiness, and everything in between.

“In their minds, they still had forever. But we knew better. Forever was something we all took for granted, but the problem with forever was that it really didn’t exist.”

Only A Breath Apart by Katie McGarry

Only a Breath Apart: A Novel

This cover gives me the warm fuzzies. Maybe it’s the country girl in me that loves laying in a field of grass, but this cover gives me a sense of serenity.

“Pain is what makes you grow, it’s what makes you mature, it’s what helps lead you to the path you are meant to be on. If everything is good all the time, there would never be change.”

Match Me If You Can by Tiana Smith

Match Me If You Can

Is there anything sweeter than being on a tree house with a gorgeous sunset in the background? I think not! This cover holds the promise of a sweet love story with plenty of swoon worthy moments!

“Let me guess,” Logan said. “You got detention for”- he pursed his lips as if he were deep in thought- “dog-earing a page in a library book.”

Paper Princess by Erin Watt

Paper Princess: A Novel (The Royals Book 1)

This is another simple but gorgeous book cover that I love!

“Look, I like you. Didn’t think I would but I do, and because I like you, I feel the need to warn you that we Royals are pretty f*cked up. We’re good in bed, but out of it? We’re like a stage four hurricane.”

Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh

I adore the cherry blossoms on this cover and this icy blue color!

“I believe the stars align so souls can find one another. Whether they are meant to be souls in love or souls in life remains to be seen.”

Hungry Hearts edited by Eldie Chapman & Caroline Tung Richmond

Hungry Hearts: 13 Tales of Food & Love

This cover is makes me want to dig into it (pun intended). I love the coral font and how it lets the bowl of food speak for itself.

“That’s the thing about fairy-tale endings. They don’t exist. But the ones you have to share, with everyone you love around you and good food spread over the counters and the city you love spread out before the open window with all it’s glimmering magic and promise?

Those I could live with.”

Always, Never, Yours by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka

Always Never Yours

There’s something about blue books that draws me in… I’m not sure why that color jumps at me so much. I also love the bouquet of the pink and white flowers that add a contrast to the blue.

“I remember what Owen told me. Don’t undervalue yourself. I shouldn’t sweep my hurt under the rug so Madeleine doesn’t have to feel bad. My feelings matter, too. I’m tired of pretending they don’t.”

Truly, Madly, Royally by Debbie Riguad

Truly Madly Royally (Point Paperbacks)

This cover is so sweet with Zora and Owen sitting on a picnic in a meadow! And, TBH, it was one of the main reasons as to why I picked it up!

“I’m smiling, too. I rest my elbows on the bookcase, not even trying to see his face through the spines now. “I get it. I have a bookish hiding place, too… That’s my escape.”

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

To All the Boys I've Loved Before

Honestly, this was one of the first cover I had seen with an Asian female main character (and do you know how sad it was to live in what? 2014 when I discovered this book). I love that Lara Jean has such an girly room that is simply and bright!

“Do you know what it’s like to like someone so much you can’t stand it and know that they’ll never feel the same way?”

What are some of your favorite book covers? Let me know below!

Happy reading until next time,
