Hi everyone! I feel like the prompt for this week is going to be so much fun since I love music! Music is one of those things in life can make my day so much better with the right song. It’s also one of those things that can instantly bring you back to a place or time in your life when listening to a particular song.

This weeks TTT prompt is books Titles That Would Make Good Band Names

TTT is a weekly meme hosted by thatartsyreadergirl.

Other TTT Promts this month:

Again But Better by Christina Riccio

I could see this being the name for an indie band that plays punk rock music. This band would be made up of a tight knit group of misfits that have faced a lot in their life. Again But Better would be that band who’s always being told by producers that they’ll make it one day if they change their sound. Despite that, they keep performing the music that brought them to a better place in their lives and would rather stay true to themselves than become something they aren’t. They would play a lot of dive bars until one of their covers blow up on the internet where the get a record deal.

Damsel by Elana K. Arnold

This would be the name of an all girl group that fights for women’s rights with their powerful bops. They would have a variety of songs that would range from those heavy songs that makes you cry from the story being told to the songs that are upbeat and will having you singing at the top of your lungs while riding to the beach with the windows down. They’re the group that inspires young women to be themselves and not confine to the

Endless Summer by Jennifer Echols

They would be that band who puts out nothing but straight up bops. Sure sometimes their songs get stuck in your head playing on a loop while you’re trying to go to bed but what can you do? They are the people who’s always on the Top 40 and are always being played even though the song is a couple years old, and hearing the song brings back those special moments during a summer late night at a bonfire or at the mountains.

Magnolia by Kristi Cook

Magnolia is that group of friends from the deep south *hence the name Magnolia*. Since this group is made up of people in their 20s, they would be playing around with a mix of songs that pay homage to  the older country like Jonny Cash, Dolly Parton, and Gene Autry and make new country songs that have a new fresh feel.

Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore

Wild Beauty would be that blue grass country band that makes music that you want nothing more than to lay in a field under the blue sky surrounded by wild flowers. They have that breezy sound that makes you sway and close your eyes and just live in the moment.

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

This would be one of those metal heavy bands where the singer is just pouring his heart in such heart breaking music. Shatter Me would have music influence by Linkin Park and is always speaking to people with their music despite their heavy metal background music.

The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

I could see this being an emo band with Yungblood feels. Sure, they might not be for most people, but they have their die hard fans that makes the whole experience worth it as being musicians who aren’t producing music in one of the more popular genre.

Meet Cute by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This would be one of those sweet duos where the couple is obviously in love. They write music about their own meet cute and other stories from books. They’re just the cutest couple that inspires people to find a love as true as theirs. They write everything from up beat songs about love to the slow ballads that you want to play at your wedding to the heartbreaking songs that tells a couple’s story from start to end.
