Hi everyone!!! I am just on top of the world right now because I took my first test for my OB/Peds today and made a B which took a huge weight off my shoulders. I was studying all weekend, so I didn’t post much, but I figured I’d do this week’s TTT which is about books I didn’t read last year.
I decided to talk about the books I didn’t read on my TBRs I had set during the period of last year. I don’t normally make monthly TBRs because I’m a mood reader and often get books to review which can change my reading schedule.
I also updated all of my unboxing pages! Including the following today:
TTT is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Last Year’s Spring TBR
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

Now, I’m a big fan of CC’s books, but I haven’t had time to read them because now those suckers are like 500+ pages, and I just don’t have that much time to commit to one book with school and obligations from my blog and bookstagram.
I want to read Chain of Gold a lot more than Queen of Air and Darkness because I’m more emotionally invested in the MCs parents (*cough, cough* Will and Tessa) but at the same time I know that getting older means getting closer to death, and I just see Will again like the epilogue of Clockwork Princess.
I’m hoping that since I preordered Chain of Iron(is that the name of the upcoming book), I’ll have a little more motivation to read it.
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout (reread)

Yep, still haven’t done this reread. When it came to last year, the majority of the books I had read were those I had to review, so I had little time to read the books that I bought or even reread books.
Plus, I’ve already read the series, so I know that I need to have at least a week, so I can just go ahead and reread the entire series plus a couple of extra days to recover!
Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin

Ok, in my defense, I had actually started this book back in December but got interrupted because I had books I needed to finish for blog tours.
I got maybe 50 pages into the book, so I haven’t reached the point where Reid and Lou go and do whatever that needs to be done.
And, I may or may not have flipped through some of the pages and spoiled some things because I was trying to find a certain spicy scene that everyone talks about. Did I find it? No. Do I remember anything I saw while trying to find it? No, so it’s like it never happened.

Y’all let me tell you.
I WANT TO READ THIS BOOK SO BAD.
I mean it sounds like an absolute winner when it comes to YA contemporary and most of what I’ve seen, everyone generally really enjoyed reading it.
Now, I didn’t get my copy until the second half of the year, so that makes me feel a little better, but I still want to get to it soon.
Winter TBR
So I still haven’t read anything from my winter TBR, but I set it only a month ago.
Bookstagram TBR

I can’t tell you much about this book, but I had read The Best Mistake by Cookie and absolutely loved it so I’m excited to read some of her YA books.
I mean with an title like Adorkable how can you not want to read it?
From Blood and Ash by JLA

I’m so ready to explore JLA’s books that are outside of the YA world.
I’ve been reading Jennifer’s books for many years, so I’m basically caught up on all of the YA books that she’s published and am more than ready to jump into this series especially with FairyLoot’s upcoming exclusive editions!
What are some books you didn’t get to last year? Let me know below!
Happy reading until next time,

I hope you enjoy all of these books whenever you find time to read them!
My post.
