Gentle Scars by Willow Winters Mini Review

Synopsis:

Gentle Scars (To Be Claimed Saga Book 2) by [Willow Winters]

There was never a question of whether or not I would be his. It’s simply what fate demanded.

There’s a knowing when the werewolves find their mates. It’s an aching need, a desperation… one they would die for. But for their mates, it’s a trance, a pull, a submissive desire that’s at odds with the shadows of my past and how I’ve learned to survive.

I didn’t know how hard I’d fall. I didn’t know what destiny would bring.
I didn’t know it then that I would die for him as he would me.

Review:

5 Stars

This is the second book in the To Be Claimed Saga following Grace, Liz, Devin, Dom, and Caleb from Wounded Kiss plus we get introduced to Veronica and Vince. Like the first book, this one is told from alternating POVs.

I’d say that Gentle Scars is a little bit better than Wounded Kiss only because the world is already build and we’ve already met two of the three couples, so we were able to see more advancements in not only the relationships but also the storyline itself.

I would also say that this book is spicier than the first book, and it has several opportunities that shows both Grace and Liz’s resilience from being taken by the guys and having a short amount of time before they are supposed to have their mating ceremony.

To me Gentle Scars focuses more so on Vince and Veronica’s relationship, but it also had a few moments with the other MCs from the previous book.

This is another hot, fast paced book that will make you ready to read the next story! Ps there’s a cliffhanger!

Happy reading until next time,
